Paragon Bank to Adopt the TowneBank Name


Last year, Paragon became a division of TowneBank – creating a regional bank specializing in both private and commercial banking services throughout the Southeast.

Given our shared vision and joint commitment to community service and client experience, we feel the time is right for Paragon to adopt the TowneBank name.

Why TowneBank?

We’re thrilled to have partnered with such a like-minded, relationship-focused bank with values synonymous to our own.

We entered into this partnership with the goal of offering a wider range of financial products, as well as expanding our philanthropic presence in the communities we serve.

And by combining our cultures of excellence into one family under the same name, we are better able to do just that, and more.

Same Experience. Different Name.

Our focus on creating memorable, personal experiences will remain the same – now, and after we transition to the TowneBank name. In addition, members will continue to enjoy the services we currently offer:

  • We will continue to serve you as we do now, but with the TowneBank name.
  • You will work with the same bankers you already know and trust.
  • Existing products and account numbers will remain the same.
  • Paragon checks will continue to work as they do now.

As we adopt the TowneBank name, we become members of the TowneBank family. In that same spirit, we will be referring to you and other clients as “members” to emphasize the sense of belonging and importance of our relationships.

What’s Next

The Paragon Bank name will transition to TowneBank on June 10, 2019.

There are also plans to open several new TowneBank locations in the Triangle, Charlotte, Greenville and the Triad–each of which will offer additional TowneBank services.
